About Us

My name is Jim Taylor, and my wife Lynn and I are Saint Bernard Lovers. My daughter Heather and her husband Matt, both serve at the Wilds Christian Camp and Conference Center. For years, I served at the Wilds as well and my wife was a beloved teacher for many years. We’ve retired and live just outside of Asheville, North Carolina in a beautiful log-cabin style home. I love taking pictures from our deck of the landscape God created (see below). We feel incredibly blessed to have loving family and a beautiful place to live.

Our daughter Heather and son-in-law Matt are a guardian home for a mini Labradoodle (Sydney) with their friends the Crocketts. My wife and I were really interested in being a guardian home for Crockett Doodles, but our passion was for Saint Bernards. Our Saint Bernards have always been our favorite dogs through they years. Dr. Nathan Crockett worked with us to get us an absolutely stunning Saint Bernard girl (Missy), and he provides the perfect Poodle stud for us to use to produce amazing Saint Berdoodle puppies.

We raise the Saint Berdoodle puppies at our beautiful log house in the mountains, but we rely on Crockett Doodles for our website, Facebook page, and accepting applications of our puppies. Through the years, Crockett Doodles has established themselves as a premier provider of doodles in the Southeast. The Crocketts personally raise Goldendoodles and Labradoodles, but they have partnered with other doodle-loving families like ourselves to make Crockett Doodles a network of passionate doodle lovers. Since we started raising Saint Berdoodles, Crockett Doodles has partnered with a couple other families to raise these wonderful dogs, so that we can offer more than one litter a year of Saint Berdoodle puppies.

Crockett Doodles strives for outstanding customer service, top-notch family raised pups, and the best health warranty in the business. They are one of the only breeders who can accept only a small percentage of deposits from the numerous applications they receive. We are privileged to work with them, and they know how to carefully evaluate applications to differentiate between the good and the best.

Because Crockett Doodles partners with several home-raised doodle families, you have the option for applying for more than one doodle breed. Our desire would be for you to get the perfect doodle to meet your families needs–whether that be a Saint Berdoodle (our favorite of course) or another doodle such as: Labradoodle, Goldendoodle, Aussiedoodle, Springerdoodle, Newfiedoodle, Irish Doodle, or Sheepadoodle.
